8th July 2006 

At The 2006 Tendring Hundred Show, The Battle For Europe group won 2nd Place in The Educational Section for the display we provided in the show. We hope this to be the first of many awards!

March 2007

We received news this week that The Little Havens Hospice show that we attended last year managed to raise over £7,000 for their charity. We have been asked to help out again this year.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Newark, veteran of the 2nd battalion of the Essex Regiment, and supporter  and honorary member of Battle For Europe. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family at this time.
